The front of this coin features images of sailors in action with a modern Aircraft Carrier, f/A-18 Hornet aircraft, and a seaman hard at work with the text “In Honor Of All Who Served”. The other side of the coin includes the words, “245 Years, 13 October 1775 Continental Congress Authorizes Creation of the U.S. Navy”. The text “U.S. Navy Birthday” is proudly displayed with 1775-2020 along the top.
This finely crafted 3D coin has a diameter of 1.75 inches and is solid brass with a satin silver finish.
