Department of Justice Challenge Coin

This 1.75″ antique brass finish coin honors the United States Department of Justice. The front side of this coin features the pillars of justice at a courthouse, along side Lady Justice and her scales, all in raised 3d. Behind them is the United States Flag. The border of the coin reads “Equal Justice” and “Under Law”. The reverse side of this coin features the official seal of the Department of Justice, an eagle holding 13 arrows in it’s left talon and an olive branch in it’s right. Under it, it states “Qui Pro Domina Justitia Sequitur” (Who prosecutes on behalf of justice). Around the eagle boldly states “Department of Justice” with 3 stars along the bottom and a rope edge circling the outer edges.
