2005 Marine Corps Birthday Challenge Coin

The 1.75″ antique brass 2005 Marine Birthday challenge coin features a full color picture insert of the Iwo Jima Memorial. The front of the coin includes the words “United States Marine Corps,” “A Piece of Marine Corps History,” and “The Battle of Iwo Jima.” The back of the coin declares, “Celebrating 230 Years of Excellence” over the Eagle, Globe and Anchor. The Marine Corps Birthday of November 10, 1775 is proudly displayed along the top. Scarlet and gold rings add a finishing touch, and the coin has a protective clear epoxy coating on both sides.
