The Basic School Challenge Coin

This detailed challenge coin commemorates The Basic School, the first stop of training and study for newly commissioned USMC officers. This 2″ shiny gold coin is in the shape of the TBS shield with a cross rifle and sword. The front side features the motivating words “Esprit, Leadership, and Knowledge” which are vital to the mission statement of TBS. The reverse side has the words “United States Marine Corps” and at the bottom, “Semper Fidelis.” Both sides are completed with a 3D Eagle, Globe, and Anchor dual plated with shiny nickel and shiny gold.
